PRODUCTION NOTES: The Crossing” is an experimental art film which presents a series of still drawings and paintings, combined with digital imagery and portions of layer animation. Despite its extremely limited budjet of 600€, “The Crossing” is highly rich in visual and sound elements. Utmost attention was given to the quality of the images, especially to the look and feel of the drawings. The attitude and expressions of David’s character drawings were based on the real life performances of actors Lucien Jérôme and Chase Emery Davis.
